porting l4d through cider?

Hey guys, i just copied the L4D folder that steam makes into cider and changed the plis settings, but when i open it, it clearly works in every way except one: no video whatsoever. anybody know how to d it properly?

It probably won't be able to connect to Steam servers anyways, so you'd be a bit buggered in playing online.

You cannot port Steam games. Many people have tried with no success. This site might be a little more help.

got it working throught the spore creature creator version of cider. only problem is my old core duo imac con only get 1 or 2 fps
