Possible defect with my 3gs

Hi not sure if others have experienced same, however I believe my 3g radio is defective. On 2g/edge it will be perfect however in known strong 3g areas my signal will constantly fluctuate.

I believe it's a fault because if I squeeze top right of the phone signal goes perfect till I let go. Have any of you experienced same? I'm considering exchange but rather not lose jailbreak with 3.1 out.

That's the weirdest thing. I tried it (one bar reception) squeezed the top right. Bingo, 5 bars. I wonder if I'm acting as an aerial. I've seen something similar with car alarm transmitters (key fobs) - you can pretty much double the range if you activate it when pressed against your head....

Anyway, very interesting. Wonder if anyone else experiences this...

I dunno. I tried it and it stayed the same. However as for that car thing, I do that and a friend tells me I'm beyond retarded for thinking that works.
