For those of you experiencing problems with the iPhone struggling to find your location (been happening to me since 2.0.1), this is a possible fix.

I've noticed the only time my GPS has failed to work is when I have had 3G enabled. Disabling it, initiating the GPS module, and then re-enabling it seems to have helped. It has worked successfully on the few occasions I have been faced with no GPS. The procedure I follow is below:

1) Turn OFF 3G in 'Settings > General > Network'
2) Launch Maps and hit the 'Location' button to initiate the GPS module
3) Hopefully GPS should start working
4) Re-Enable 3G for faster speeds

If this fails, try turning 'Location Services' OFF in 'Setting > General' and then turning it back ON again.

Now this might just be my experience, but this procedure seems to have worked successfully so far. I have no idea whether the 3G module can conflict with the GPS module/signal (maybe someone can shed some light on if this is possible or not), but give it a go and if this works (or not) for you then please let us know ;)
