you know, you pose an interesting position. Although...I call it twisted logic. If you think the world is going INSANE and also that its a 3 year old child... then you should probably think that in how ever many years, the child is 30 years old and responsible. so I suppose its not going insane.

Look at history, there is a TON of terrible things that have happened. Its just now you see them in your face every day. The holocaust, dictatorships, slavery, so much hate and maddness. The world is a wild place. Always has been. Tomorrow is a new day, shine on.

I really don't get why newbs like you come to MacRumors.com and post about weird things like this. There has to be a more appropriate forum website for you.

I sometimes think it's because they think by making a simple question seem deep and profound, we'll all be wowed at their level of intelligence at making such a remarkable post.

before anyone locks this thread i would like to say that the reason for this thread is too sooth people who look at the world like that

i am a happy optimistic person and i recgonize that many good things happen too!

but there are still many bad things as well and i was posting this for the reason of people who look at the world that way so they could be cheered up.
i was saying that the metaphorical earth and humanity that it is young and sometimes as you get older you get wiser and more kind

after all can you see a three year old not wanting lots of sweets and being a little selfish and also saying thank you when never being taught!

no!! so as the world and humanity becomes older by thousands of years, so does happiness, prosperity, and most bad things go away!

I simply think that we're increasingly able to see what's happening almost anywhere, and, since bad news sells best, we see a lot of bad news.

I agree this has a lot to do with "seeing" how bad things are today vice 50 to 100 years ago.

Bad news sells.
