iPhone Possible ios 6 downgrade?

Hi guys i'm new to the forum and to very much happiness i'm glad to see the evasi0n jailbreak has been released! :) I was wondering if there was any possibility of having an iphone downgraded to 5.1.1 from ios 6 now that the jailbreak is now possible. I don't have any shsh blobs saved so maybe there's a workaround? In case you're wondering why i would want to downgrade i have cleartalk service and in order to flash the iphone to their service it MUST be 5.1.1 or below....any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Really? From what I saw with iOS 6 is that you can downgrade if you had blobs saved...I suppose maybe I can find a way to flash clear talk service to ios6 with the new jailbreak, can anyone point me in the right direction?

Ya I also heard the same thing. Save blobs and its possible. And here none the less. So is it or isn't it.

Someone has to release a method of downgrading first.

Without blobs you cannot downgrade even if there was a method released.

And if you have an iPhone 5 you won't be able to downgrade to anything lower than 6.0

No blobs, no downgrade, unless as AJ said, you have a 3G or lower (which, you don't, since 3G only went up to 4.2.1)

iPhone 3GS & iPhone 4 can move freely between firmwares so as long as you have blobs. iPhone 4S can only move between iOS 5 firmwares if you have blobs as long as you are still on iOS 5, but once at iOS 6, you cannot use blobs to switch to an unsigned firmware.

You said you dont have blobs saved.
So if the future even if there is a way you cannot downgrade anyway since you dont have any old blobs saved.
You can only save 6.1 shsh blobs now and then use them in the future.
You cant go back down to 5.1.1 or below without any specific blobs for those firmware versions.

Well this sucks, I have an Iphone 4 with 6.1 and it's pretty much a joke It's like using and iphone 3g with Ios 4 everything lags.

It saved sshs but then it says found zero filels to cache. If it saved the files the why zero found. And what folder does it save to.

That's exactly what I did. Checked everything gives an error. If I uncheck it gives no error but says no files found to cache.

What folder on everyone elses computers does it save to. And if no go then I'll try my mac mini. What is the download link for mac version.

Sory I forgot to click save ssh. I had everything unchecked by mistake. Only request from cydia was needed not save ssh. Andhow it saved.

But it says "iPhone3GS 4.1 (8b117)". I have 5.1.1.

So why does it say 4.1.

You found the download link on TU's website but you cant find the one for macs?
The one that says OSX obviously.

Good thing you clicked save shsh to save your shsh's:D
It only saves what Apple releases.
And for some reason for over a year or more now they still release 4.1 blobs for the 3GS. So you should have 4.1 and 6.1 saved. Even though you're on 5.1.1 you cannot save 5.1.1 shsh blobs cause apple stopped releasing those a long time ago.

I think you need to read and learn what shsh blobs are and do first.
There's no way to save your 5.1.1 blobs now because Apples servers dont release them any longer. If you update away from 5.1.1 you will never be able to go back to that version. Blobs are released from Apples activation servers and the 5.1.1 blobs you cannot pull from the phone itself.
For some funny reason Apple still releases 4.1 for the 3GS only, not sure why they still do that but its been like that for years now. That's the only one that they left open like that.

But then can I downgrade to 4.1 and then download a 5.1.1. upgrade file without going to 6.1.
