"Real deal" of what? An internal build with some internal tools? That's not really anything new though.
I think it is a build of the GM.

Sure, an internal (perhaps unreleased) version with some internal tools. Doesn't really signify anything for the customers really. As discussed in the other thread, the video depicts a blue find my friends icon. In my opinion, this adds more weight to the argument that this is an unreleased version or gm. It obviously does not confirm anything and this will continue to be a debate with absolutely no proof of what it is or is not.
And what is there to actually make that likely?I think it is a build of the GM.

But how does that imply it being a GM or even related to GM vs. some internal build with internal tools (from possibly even earlier in the process of even just recently)?Animations smooth, BioTest app and all hidden apps shown. I don't believe this guy has access to internal settings or a fail break.

That's the thing, it could be due to running in a simulator, it could be due to running it without debug settings/code, it could be due to some other performance/testing tweaks...lots of possibilities, and not much that really points to anything related to GM (aside maybe from the fact that the videos popped up now vs. earlier, but that in itself isn't really evidence of anything in particular either). The animations are smoother than beta 6, so that couldn't indicate it's a later internal build or GM.
Although, perhaps the good performance is due to running it in the simulator. I have no idea how beta 6 runs in it...
How do people judge smoothness of 60fps UI from a 25 or 30fps video is beyond me. Also, animations are exactly the same lengths as the last beta. Count it.
Someone posted that someone posted that before earlier in the thread already.Someone posted this before: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1630292/
People like to go off on wishful thinking quests and "conspiracy theories", rather than look at things from a realistic point of view, which is just not as "cool".How do people judge smoothness of 60fps UI from a 25 or 30fps video is beyond me. The nested folders shown in the video aren't "finished", so I don't think it's GM:
When looking at the folder (that has the nested folder inside) on the home screen, there's no mini-icon to represent the nested folder - can't see Apple overlooking something as visually significant as that for the GM.
This is a iOS7 in emulator.
I'm going with its fake. I mean it's the guys only 2 videos, plus I can't see apple adding a feature that big so late in the beta cycle. Seems like there's a glitch with folders pretty often, so seems kind of risky to add. Maybe a 7.1 beta?
The different find my friends icon leads me to believe it's real. But I think it's just some sort of internal beta...either 7.1 as you said, or an internal beta from several weeks ago...who knows.
Where was the Find my Friends icon? I noticed someone mentioned it in the thread, but I couldn't find it in the video.
Find My Friends is at 0:04 (on the Spotlight video) but it's very hard to catch it when the person swipes.
I think it is a build of the GM.
That's what I figured, but I couldn't catch it on iOS. Guess I need quicker fingers.![]()
You don't have an iPhone 5.
