Possible iOS Notifications System

I like this a lot. Maybe the jailbreak community will adopt something like this!

I wouldn't like to jailbreak my iPhone just for that, lets hope Apple does it in iOS 5.0

The problem I have with adding more to the status bar is that it's already full...adding another icon is going to cause everything to run together and I really don't want to lose any of the icons already there (except maybe the carrier name)

So, good thought, but needs more depth

I would happily take away the carrier name, it tells me nothing and doesn't look nice.

Definitely a good start. I think that the community should make a concerted effort to produce more and more potential schemes and diagrams for notifications much like was done prior to copy and paste. Let's light a fire under Apple's ass and get the damn notification system revamped, already.

I definitely like the idea of swiping to the left to get to your notifications. I don't think you need to put it in the same spot as Spotlight but maybe a new section directly to the left and Spotlight one swipe farther.

However it's implemented something like this would be great.

I'd like it because I never use Spotlight. It would make that page useful. However, I would like texts to show up on the wake screen, and maybe other notification types if there is only one.

I really like the Spotlight notification method.
Will we be able to scroll down though? I really hope Apple implements something like this. C'mon Apple surprise us like how you did with Multitasking!
