Possible ipad2 launch not on friday

Have been told by a friend who works for apple that at 1pm he revived an email saying they still are not sure weather they will have a any stock of the ipad2 for Friday and they will update at 2am Friday morning

Have just been told apple stored revived an email saying launch day in uk is forced back to 5pm to see ifthey have enough stock but to to expect for to happen Friday. They arnt sure if even Regent street london will get any!

Good new they have already got the smart covers haha

When you get your iPad, make sure the first app you buy is: "Oxford A-Z of Grammar and Punctuation" and make heavy use of the spell checker.

it was always going to be a 5pm launch, there are no problems or delay's. Don't get panicky over nothing.

The Apple Store pushed back the release to 5PM because Apple HQ told them to, its all here in the Press Release they sent out just a few hours ago this morning (also on the front page of MacRumors)
