You are probably right, but it is funny that they will copy the name of the Samsung Fold. I mean yeah technically it's the Z Fold, but it will still be a little weird.

What would be interesting is if they pull another iPhone X to Xs transition. It’s niche / early adopter for now, but becomes mainstream next year.

Imagine the iPhone Air with dual cameras, the same (or better) battery as the iPhone 17, and dual speakers.

The Air is baked in for one more product cycle at least. Apple plans these phones and gets production outside of a yearly cycle, even if sales are bad we're getting another one. The mini was the same
