Hi all,

Basically we have a mixed network of PC's and macs. They both have a simular problem. Certain websites will always redirect to myfamily.com or they will just fail to load?!?

Msn wont work, the mac's cannot update... The IT guy was trying to say it was a virus that travelled through email but that seems unlikely as few of our macs dont even have email running but they are still affected.

Have any of you experienced any of these symptoms??

I'm in two minds, virus or just a network issue

Cheers

Sounds like a routing issue or something similar. If you do a DNS lookup for the server name from an effected machine what do you get? What is the routing setup? Is it a hardened hardware router or are you using a spare PC? If it's a spare PC the look there first.
