Possible to cluster macs?

I have 2 iMacs that I feel are too slow for power hungry apps, so I´m thinking if I could cluster them so they would be more powerful....or adding some other macs as well?

I´m also wondering if it would bring any benefits to e.g. Aperture or Lightroom?

Google xgrid. It's built into Mac OS X.

This is simply amazing!

My iMac is not adequate for e.g. Aperture and Lightroom dries up all of its resources, so I wonder if these apps can benefit from being able to access resources from other macs through xgrid?
