Possible to connect chromebook to iMac?

I have an older 2009 iMac I'm no longer using.
Is it possible to connect a Dell 3100 Chromebook to the iMac and
use the iMac as a monitor?

Only if it's a late-2009 27" iMac. If that's what you have, you need this cable - https://www.startech.com/AV/display...ters/usb-c-mini-displayport-cable~CDP2MDPMM6B - to use Target Display Mode. It's how I've connected my dell pc to my 2010 27" iMac.

It won't work if it's another 2009 iMac, got to be the late-2009 27".
