possible to control iphone via pc?

i have it on the other side of my room, and i would love to switch tracks on it via itunes or somthing on my pc.

not sure but i know you can control your mac via your iphone, i do

thats cool but i have basically have that cradle it came with my iphone. but it has no remote or ir sensor. 50 bucks... hmm ill have to think about this one.
