Possible to gift an app to a user without a computer?

Sorry for the strange sounding thread title.

I have a friend I'd like to gift Beejive to because her computer has no way of connecting to the internet (strange but trust me on this). If I gift her an app will she be able to download it straight from her iPhone without using a computer?
