iPhone Possible to limit hotspot bandwidth ?

Hi,

I'm looking for a way to limit the bandwidth on hotspot. I often share internet via my phone with the kids on their Ipad and it's eating my 15 gig plan very quickly.

Yesterday I did a test, 20 mins with 2 iPad on youtube consumed 500 megs

Any option to limit the damage?

What devices are your kids using to hotspot with?

I know iOS devices now have a "low data" setting under the connection in Wi-Fi.

I just did a test with the Ipad and when you connect via hostpot it turns it on by default, so unfortunately not helping :/
