Possible to rehome an M1/M2 Mac Mini motherboard or enclosure into an old Mac Pro tower case?

I have an old 1,1 Mac Pro and am having trouble selling it (understandably), and was curious if anyone has attempted to either disassemble an M1/M2 Mac mini motherboard or just putting a Mac mini into the Mac Pro case and hooking it up to either the Mac Pro's I/O ports or just using 3D printed parts or extensions or something to give external port access?

Are there any guides or attempts people have done at this? I know it's been done with an iMac but I'm curious about the Mac Pro.
