    Hi,

I'm just curious as to whether I would lose my Boot Camp partition or not when reinstalling OS X.

    Thanks!

Oh, also; Do you guys have any pointers for what to back up on an external hard drive? Safari Bookmarks and stuff like that? I always forget to back up certain things...

It depends on whether OS X has to initialize the disk or not but you should have a pretty good chance.

You shouldn't, you'll be able to install it back on the Mac OS X partition that you have on the hard drive.
