already jail broke my new iPhone 6, is it possible to still restore from my old iPhone 5 backup without updating to iOS 9?

Possible to restore from backup on a jail broken phone?

Yes, as long as the backup is not from a newer firmware than you are currently running it will work fine. Just make sure you "restore from backup" as opposed to just a "restore" which will wipe the phone and install iOS 9

Ok, not the appropriate thread to ask but here's my question anyway.
Is it possible to downgrade somehow my iPad mini 2 to iOS 8.4.1 from iOS 9.0.2???
I have an iPad mini 2 running iOS 9.0.2. I have another iPad mini 2 (my gift to my brother) which runs iOS 8.4.1.
I do have a backup from my brother's iPad with iOS 8.4.1 and I do have the 8.4.1 .ipsw file.

As stated, impossible.
If Apple is not signing the version release, it's not going to happen.
PS. 8.4.1 is not jailbreakable either.

Tell me how you can jailbreak if there is no jailbreak for 8.4.1, 9.0, 9.0.1 or 9.0.2?
If you can figure that one out then you can tell all of us how we can downgrade!

Regardless, a jailbreak does not facilitate the installation of an unsigned version of iOS.
