Possible to stream video to MBP from PC?

its a dumb question so sry. but is there any way i can stream videos from my Terabyte to my MBP. like suppose im downstairs (my desktop upstairs), is it possible to watch movies on my MBP- like stream them somehow?
 
Just Share the file containing the videos over your network. You can look that up on google for instructions.
