I thought somehow u could
Are you referring to airplane mode?
Create silent ringtones in garageband
Airplane mode and turning the phone off both work well.. Or post #4 Silent switch also works for me at least.
People here are very helpful - but very few are mind readers. Please explain what it is you are trying to do.
make calls go straight to voicemail, or turn of the ability to recieve texts temporarily. but not both at same time
If you still need a wifi connection on your phone, but want to turn off incoming calls and texts, place the phone on Airplane Mode, then turn on your wifi i the wifi menu right below the Airplane mode setting.
You may be able to disable phone calls using this method:
Dial *#67# to see which number is used to forward calls to VM.
Dial *21*number# to forward all calls unconditionally before you leave.
Dial ##002# when you return to restore the default settings.
I am amazed at how many answers are given to this vague post.
How do you people know what is being asked?
some people just understand
personally I'd like to turn off the phone while maintaining 3G data or at least get a pop up (like texts) of the phone call rather than the phone 'app' totally wiping me out of what I was doing, usually remote desktopping.
Setting > call forwarding
You can get the correct number to forward to for your voicemail.
If your home on wifi you can put airplane mode on and turn wifi back on as another option
I understand what was being asked. It's poorly written, but I get the jist. U really had no idea?
