I was wondering if it might be possible to upgrade memory somehow on an iPhone (for example: turn my 4GB into an 8GB or even 16GB). I am happy with my phone now as it has a 5 series screen, everything is tight and it has worked flawlessly (knock on wood). Would it be possible to have a new memory chip installed or even a new logic board? I know that broken iPhones can be fixed for around $250 so I figure even if I paid that amount to upgrade it would be better than buying a new phone for full price.

Does anyone have any thoughts?

Thanks in advance...

yes you can turn your 4gb into 8gb or 16gb

all you do is sell you 4gb on ebay or the marketplace here and with the money add to it and buy a 8gb/16gb iphone

fairly simple

Since this post comes up second when the issue is googled, I figured I'd revisit it.

You can get a logic board upgrade.
