Possible to use 2008 iMac as external display for MBA?

Is is possible to connect MBA that has thunderbolt/mini display port, to a 2008 iMac to use it as an external display?

If so, please link to any adapters/connectors.

This is called Target Display Mode and "Only iMac (27-inch, Late 2009), iMac (27-inch, Mid 2010) and iMac (Mid 2011 to Mid 2014) support Target Display Mode." So, no you can't.
