I read something about there is some kind of nbc & att exclusive converage, but I cant find any actual link to the viewing site. And I think youtube is also covering, but cant find the link as well. Kind want to watch the opening on my iphone while i'm away on a trip.

nbcolympics.com has live coverage, but I doubt that I can install ms silverlight =\

I can't speak for the US, but here in the UK, the BBC has exclusive rights I think, so we'd have Wi-Fi iPhone viewing via iPlayer.

Go to nbcolympics.com on your iPhone. They've created a special page for mobile users and I've been using it for a while now and it works great, no Silverlight needed since it works on Quicktime. There's tons of photos/videos on there and the quality is pretty good.
