See? Your own link proves that Apple uses the term "logic board". It's just to be different but it sounds silly.

Your second link shows only a few results. http://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en-us&q=MacBook+Crack&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8 almost 400,000 results there.

Anyway, Alienware sells their systems based on specs. Apple sells theirs based on build quality and reliability. Apple is also a much larger company than Alienware so the problem is still very much so widespread and more so than Alienware.

Sorry about the two fanbois and their flamewars CaMIRO.

Why is it that when someone points out legitimate problems with Macs they end up being called trolls or fanboys or accused of starting flame wars? Yet if someone points out Windows problems everyone joins in on the fun? Please explain that.

mosx is a known troll. He used to do it in the gaming section all of the time. Look through his post history, it's almost entirely going into threads about the MacBook and saying bad things. Hey Mosx...

Please show me proof of me being a "known troll".

I said some things about Nintendo that the fanboys can't handle. It's not my fault Nintendo fanboys can't accept certain truths.

Pointing out facts about a company (Nintendo being extremely overrated, Apple charging too much for a system without a dedicated GPU) doesn't make you a troll. It just means you're speaking the truth.

As for that other remark...

am I not allowed to have two computers? Is it impossible for one to own both a MacBook and HP notebook?

Thought not.

After all, making generalizations like "OS X is unstable enough" is certainly not intended to annoy people, but certainly a valid, measurable discussion point, right?

http://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en-us&q=leopard+crash&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8 Almost half a million results.

My desktop currently has an uptime of 15 days. That last reboot was for Boot Camp. I have no problems. And it's a Hackintosh. OS X is far more stable on Apple hardware.

Good job admitting to illegal activities there buddy ;)

You're not trolling by saying something bad about OS X. You're trolling by hunting down every thread that mentions the word MacBook and screetching about how much better everything else is. You're doing it for reactions, not for geniune discussion. I will reply to you no more in this thread.

Good job jumping in then running away too. Anyhow, when I see a post where someone has legitimate questions about a MacBook I come in and tell them the "other side of the story" so they know the whole truth.

There is no "trolling" involved in telling the truth. If I came into a thread and said "h4wh4w Macs suck! Apple is gay!" then THAT would be trolling.

But coming in and talking about how MacBooks lack dedicated GPUs, OS X crashes and doesn't take advantage of GPU features for video? Thats not trolling. Those are facts. Speaking about my experiences with Apple customer support is not trolling either. That is simply telling what happened to me.

You may not like what I have to say, but you have to accept the truth sometimes. You can't just call someone a troll and run away from them because you can't handle what they're saying.
