Well, with the amount I've got on this unit alone, I don't think I'm helping to save the [planet much...

...It's a green drive, right? I thought they were slower. "

No, not slower, full 7200RPM and it's fast. It's to do with the way they sleep and the amount of power they consume. I'd like to tell you I purchased it for it's :Green" credentials, but it was on special offer from ebuyer...:D

They are 5400 I thought. They use say they are "IntelliPower" which was supposed to somehow suggest they were capable of dynamic RPMs. No evidence was found for that however.

I was wondering about these stands. Do they affect the noise level ? I imagine there are a lot more vibrations reaching the top of the table. So in essence - are they worth the money ?

I don't feel more vibrations than usual and the noise level is pretty much the same as well. Its easy to build up and install i say if you have the money (440ddk around 77usd) and 2+ drives its worth it.

Nope, sorry. They just decided to take the higher number from the marketing speak.

"IntelliPower - A fine-tuned balance of spin speed, transfer rate and caching algorithms designed to deliver both significant power savings and solid performance."

Western Digital actually stopped using RPM notation on these drives, because it was too ambiguous.

You should try holding the lower chopstick on your ring finger (stable one) and the other one should be at the tips of your fingers between the index and middle finger, You'll have a lot more control and will be able to pick up anything. including a shot glass.

Thanks, I'll give it a go.

Actually, I think the older SATAII drives are actually 5400rpm because I have a 1tb green SATAII drive and it is 5400. I think to accommodate the SATAIII speeds they had to bump them up to 7200. That's just sort of a guess though.

Western Digital isn't saying. That is the point. They were originally suggesting dynamic RPMs.

How much did this one cost you, my upper right tire is in pretty bad condition i think it's gonna blow any very soon

$561 shipped from Tirerack.com

I find they usually have the cheapest prices for tires anywhere online. They are BY FAR cheaper than any local tire shop.

Almost forgot! Rented this movie last night and an hour after finishing the movie I bought it on Amazon. What a fantastic movie.

Same here!

I rented it from Redbox, loved it, and wen't right out to Target and bought it. I could have got it cheaper online but I did not want to wait!! Haha...

I never understood buying chicken products from McDonald's when theres usually a place that does more genuine (barely, I guess) chicken down the road...

Had Popeyes and will never get chicken from McDonald's again.

Car wouldn't pass inspection, otherwise.

It's not the airbags itself, but the SRS light came on. Turns out, a wire under the seat was frayed, and was grounding itself to the car. $75.
