Just got the updated Google on my Moto X ... Concerned that android m is going to look brutal with this new Google look. Even Google note pane is cack now with lots of space wasted.

It's the wasted space on top of the google now pane rather than the cards themselves, but yeah that search bar is f'ugly...
Will this replace Google Now or will it be separate from GN? And if I want to delete it, can I do that from applications?
Yep you can choose it as default to replace Google now and yes it can be removed from applications like any apk
