Not sure, am I only one who feels Thunderbolt display falls a short when doing post edits?

Maybe it's just being spoiled by Retina display's now? Feel clarity, sharpness, is not there.

Possible I'm doing something wrong? Calibration? Etc...

I'd look at Eizo, NEC or BenQ if you are serious about colour accurate monitors.
Apple stopped doing professional monitors years ago.
BENQ looks like it has a a nice monitor incoming.

Was checking the 5k Lg but will not translate to 5k on my MBP.

Yep! Looks promising no?

Would still need to convert Thunderbolt C to Thunderbolt 2/ not sure how that would play on this particular monitor for resolution. Assume non

Then you can just use the thunderbolt cable.
I like it a lot. The colours are good. Plus (trying not to sound like a salesman!), SD card reader, included hood and the hotkey puck are all really good features.

I have the SW2700 on my desk at work. No 4k or HDR10 features though.
HDR is great if you do video.

You can run 4K on the thunderbolt cable (as long as your Mac supports it).

Hood is optional. Just clips on and off.
I use it for business daily. But like I said it's the 2k version I have.
Might get the 4K at some point though!
