Seems these are taking forever, at least here in the UK. Ordered mine 26th Feb estimated delivery now 26th March. Only another 3 weeks to go...

Post here to let us know if you've ordered one of these and your estimated delivery date. Or maybe you got yours already. Would be good to get an idea of received vs waiting (& timescale).

The mattes don't seem to have much lag at all, looks like just the glossies are dead slow.

another one here....

ordered mines thru an interest free 2 year apple business lease, so it takes an extra week or so to do paperwork...shipping date now 26th march, 4 weeks after initial order..

the bummer for me was that i also ordered a 24" imac, a 1TB time capsule and a 23" ACD, but because its a lease they all have to ship together :(

waiting waiting....

Hmm how does that work? Is that simply £X / 24 then? Maybe I can switch my to the same seeing as I'm to wait 3 weeks also. Better than the company forking out the whole lot in one go.

Just checked the status and mine's now changed to PREPARED FOR SHIPMENT!

What does that actually mean then? 'Cos the est. shipping is still 17th March & est. del. still 26th March...

I'm guessing maybe by the end of this week or the start of next week before it gets ready to ship since most of the 17" hi-res mattes have already shipped and they can move onto the glossy.

Cool! Anyone know how long it usually takes to get from China to Europe? I guess it has to touch down in Europe before we get our next update, right??

no, you pay 4 payments per year (every quarter), then after 2 years to buy the equipment from GE Capital Finance for 2% of the original value.

for instance, i bought my powerbook amongst other bits and at the end of the lease i paid £42.50 to keep it....

the alternative is you keep the lease payments going and get an upgrade or anything else you like...

benefits : you always have a sorted up to date machine every 2 years.
cons : its never yours.......but who cares if your getting a shiny new one anyway??

its interest free too!

as far as im concerned its the best option around for getting a mac on credit.

Yeah, I know. Finally things is starting to happen. I don't know really, but a couple of days maybe.. I'm guessing maybe 4 at least or so.
Yes, I think so too. After the order is in Europe we can continue tracking or shipments.

ordered 2/27

i ordered mine 2/27
