Are you in Europe or the US? Elsewhere perhaps? I actually would've thought the 2.6's would arrive first as the local Apple Stores said they'd be getting 17" glossies with 2.6 & 7200 drives.
At first my expected ship date was 3 March, but then it got delayed and now it's shipped 6 March.
My Macbook pro, however, says it will be shipped by March 18
Even worse, it says the computer will nor be delivered until March 21.

I ordered a 17" hi-res glossy (UK) on 1st March - estimated shipping date is 24th March... but this thread has given me hope that it might be shipped sooner!

depends on how you plan on using it. I plan on using it as a desktop that can be moved from one desk to another for the most part... but i can see what you mean.... not the best for sitting on the couch surfing the web.

Ordered it the day it was announced Feb. 26. I'm in Texas. But it is a Matte screen. I overlooked the bold typed GLOSSY part of this thread. Sorry bout that. Maybe the Glossy take a little longer to....gloss I guess. When did you order yours? and is it a Glossy?

Always try to but alas I think this year is out. Too much going on and I'm a little short on cash due to my recent purchase. I'm working extra shifts to make up for my splurging. I miss Austin...but I don''t miss the traffic. Why did you choose the Glossy?

Hey mine was on the same plane from China all the way to Memphis! Came into Austin at 7:26pm on Sat. Here's to getting our MacBook Pros on Monday.
Oh and mine was also a BTO hi-res matte
I'm up early...like a kid on Christmas morning. I almost want to call in sick to work...but I'm not Physically sick...mentally? Now let us just hope yours doesn't get stuck in Austin traffic and mine is actually sorted onto a truck. People tend to move a little slower in San Antonio. I work a double today so if it does arrive today then I won't even get to see it until tonight around 11.
