Just found this one. I am very shocked and disappointed that they could let this one slip past them. Not sure if it is youtube's fault or iOS.

Yep same thing here. Really annoying me. I thought it was youtubes problem, but now, given all the other issues Apple has let slip through, I don't know who to blame.

Issues updating apps

I've had issues updating apps on my iPhone 6 (T-Mobile model 64GB). The apps start downloading but don't finish or seem to make any progress at all. It isn't connectivity, since I'm getting e-mails and can use Safari. I've temporarily resolved the issue by syncing through iTunes. I just noticed this starting last night.

iPhone 6 WiFi drops

iOS 8.0.2 iPhone 6

WiFi drops or is unrecognized for no apparent reason. This happens at home with two separate wifi routers and at other places where I have logged in previously. The same happens with my iPad2 with iOS 8. It recognizes the networks when I reboot.

My wifi sync is still not working.

This is the screen I see. Even after plugging my phone in to charge.

On mine is working flawlessly

I've read about that, but in my house it doesn't happen ( Wi-Fi network provided by airport extreme extended by an airport express).

One bug I have to report is that in my music library on some songs there isn't the album cover anymore and I don't know why.
Everything was fine in iOS 7 and previous versions.
Hypothesis?

Just like people were finding things in iOS 7 in the first few months after it was released (and even versions before that as well).

I honestly can say I never had this many problems or issues with 7, honest. You think all these issues will be sorted. Even the blue line?

Error when switching to 802.11ac?

iOS 8.0.2 iPhone 6

WiFi drops or is unrecognized for no apparent reason. This happens at home with two separate wifi routers and at other places where I have logged in previously. The same happens with my iPad2 with iOS 8. It recognizes the networks when I reboot.

I found that I could connect to WiFi fine but then a few minutes later I would be dropped. I 'believe' I found that the issue is with 802.11a. It appears that iOS 8 will connect to a WiFi network using 802.11b/g on the 2.4GHz band. If it then senses a network on the 5GHz band it will attempt to connect using 802.11ac. Unfortunately if the 5GHz band is running the older 802.11a network, that transition will fail. The problem is that the iPhone will not "fail back" to the 802.11g standard. You can "Forget this network" to connect for a while but you will be offline again soon.

I had this issue on 2 networks I support. I turned off the 802.11a radios and users can connect without being kicked off.

iPhone 6+, 8.0.2

Do not disturb for messages still does not work as advertised.

Rotation issues. Turn phone on, orientation is upside down. If I lock the phone in messages, I turn it back on and its stuck in landscape mode, only backing out and back in resets it.

sometimes my message banners don't dissapear, sometimes they do.

those are the big ones for me.

But many others did, some of whom aren't having many issues now, while others might be.

I had my iPhone 5s freeze up on me. I was playing Clash of Clans and a push notification came in. Since it was blocking the screen I tried to flick it up and everything just froze. I waited a good 30 seconds and finally pushed the home screen. At that point a calendar notification alert popped up and then disappeared at which point everything started working again.

...ok, that kinda makes sense then. So my next question is, is this a feature or a bug as I don't recall the iPhone 5 doing this in iOS7?!

It's a "feature". Data protection was significantly expanded under iOS 8.

Yes, I get that. I was in the Apple store tonight, playing around on the new 6/+ and the problems evident on my 5S, don't appear to be present on the 6/+, apart from one problem, that the 6+ is MASSIVE!!!

Another awesome bug. When I had my previous iPhones I could do a 3 way call without an issue. Today I tried unsuccessfully to do a conference call. It tried to merge the calls, locked up with no audio, and when I tried to hang up it hung up one call and then locked up when it tried to hang up the secondary call. I could use the phone as normal but it thought I was in a call and when I clicked the green bar at the top or hit the phone icon it was stuck on ending call. I had to power cycle the phone.

So far my bugs are:

Can't merge calls / have a conference call.
WiFi drops constantly
Bluetooth glitchy (music playing from phone plays over phone calls, slow connect times, failed connections, choppy music) using MyFord touch
Autocorrect is weird, either with the wrong suggestions or when you tap the word it doesn't correct
When I'm on the phone and the phone locks, if I want to hang up the call I have to unlock the phone, and then the phone controls are minimized and I have to tap the green bar then hang up.

I'm seriously regretting this purchase. I miss my M8.

Like everyone else I am experiencing the same with my iPhone 6 plus on 8.0.2:

#1 the screen rotation landscape glitch

#2 lock screen control center not working often

#3 the most frustrating: noticeably decreased battery life! Way longer battery on 8.0

...just experienced this bug on my iPhone 6 iOS 8.0.2.

When a text message comes in and sits on the lockscreen, you can normally swipe to the left and it reveals a blue 'Reply' box, whereby you reply to the message, directly from the lockscreen without having to actually go into the messages app to do this.

If the message is relatively short, the above works fine, however, if the message is quite lengthy ( this happened with 2 separate messages which were over 4 lines long), when you swipe left to reveal the 'Reply' option and then tap it, you very briefly get the open message (in order to reply), but then it quickly crashes back to the lockscreen and the message has disappeared from the lockscreen, meaning you then need to unlock your phone, and go into the messages app to reply to it.

Can someone else test this on their phone to see if they get the same results?

Shall I report this bug to Apple (where is the link for this?)?

Links in email that will take me to Safari work. The anchor links within the email won't open. If I press the link it reads x-apple-msg-load://7981B5DB-B299-4C3A-AB17-AD967992FD1F/#1

Does Anybody's iPhone 6 Wi-Fi Automatically Turn Off But Wifi Is On But Its Not Connected. No Network Would Show Up But Wi-Fi is Turned On ? I Gotta Do A Reboot For It To Connect

Yes it happens to me to. I too have to reboot to get it to connect & recognise any wifi signal.
iPhone 6 produced week 36. Hope it's a software issue & not a hardware issue. I also had a Springboard today whilst on the App Store downloading an app. Other than these two all has been fine with this iPhone 6 thus far.

Cannot Download Photo

Anyone else not able to get the full-res photos downloaded?

iPhone 6+ on 8.0.2

Cellular data randomly drops in and out. Taking the phone in and out of Airplane mode allows the phone to temporarily reconnect before it drops out again.

Anyone else experiencing this or have a suggestion on how to fix this?

App updating resolved

8.0.2 on iPad Air won't update any apps. They hang at the "stop" button. Resetting does not help.

... but I have not been able to download apps from the App Store on my phone. If I click the price or the download button for those apps I've already purchased, the icon just spins, and it does not start downloading.

It has been reported elsewhere that the Wall Street Journal app is causing this. I deleted the WSJ app, and now app downloads and updates are working. I've also cancelled my WSJ subscription.

belle787: perhaps that is your issue also.

I didn't look through all the pages so I apologize if this has already been stated. Is anyone experiencing an iMessage bug when replying to a new message and hitting send, the badge app still shows the message as new as if you hadn't replied to it. I hope that wasn't too confusing. It wasn't happening on 8.0 buy it is on 8.0.2. I wish I hadn't updated to 8.0.2. Just received my 6 yesterday.

I feel like smashing this ipad 3; I can no longer stream TV series since iOS 8.02:mad:

Anyone feel like bending & cracking the screen? It's all yours:mad:
