Post iOS 8 bugs here (updated)

I just installed the beta of 8.3 on my iPod touch and after syncing for the first time it removed nearly all of the album cover art plus the photos of the artists that are automatically added. The album art is still there in iTunes so I'm not sure why that happened.

Edit: It's not syncing anything either now. I'm using a 32 bit Macbook running Snow Leopard 10.6.8. Haven't had a problem before.
 
Notes from upcoming and completed weekly reminders are displaying under the today's and tomorrow's summary in the Today Notification Center screen. It's really annoying as the only way to clear them out, is to to restart both my iPad and iPhone.

8.2 - Another Buggy Thread

My iOS 8 is a clean install. Since 8.1.2, things have been pretty solid. I do all my updates connected to my iMac, though iTunes.

I have to say, iOS 8.2 is more buggy than the last two point versions for me at least. No, I'm not going to create a list of things, it's just pure observation. I was quite pleased with 8.1.3.

Just needed to vent.
 
Group Conversation Mute Failing

Anyone's group conversation mute stop working after 8.2? Never had trouble with it until the most recent update, and now I'm getting every text message notification even with the mute turned on:confused:
 
Opening Wordswithfriends stops music playing. Why?

Starting a timer and not pressing stop but simply pressing home button and asking Siri to start another results in this. New timer counting down with stop still appearing.

For the first few days, my clean installation of 8.2 was decidedly better than 8.1.2 (I had reverted from 8.1.3 due to battery life issues). However, over time I have noticed that most of the original bugs I thought had been quashed haven't been, and that new bugs have been introduced. My phone still freezes just as much as ever, and apps crash all the time - specifically web browsers. I have tried most but all have serious issues with crashing. Safari is sadly the best, it rarely crashes but I detest the near constant spinning data wheel bug.

The new bug introduced with 8.2 involves calendar notifications. If I set the calendar to remind me of an event, the event alert often flashes up on my screen and then disappears without my having cancelled or snoozed it. It disappears from the notification centre too, so unless I see it flash up I miss it entirely. I have already failed to attend a doctor's appointment thanks to this bug.

Mainly though it is the constant crashing of browsers other than Safari, and the near constant spinning data wheel in Safari which annoy me the most. These bugs have been present from day one but seemed to disappear for a couple of days when I updated to 8.2.

*The spinning data wheel and copy/paste issues in Safari drive me nuts.
 
Only bug that really bothers me is bluetooth, sometimes it auto connects to my car and sometimes it doesn't.
 
Set a reminder to repeat every month with a just about a year end date. Now i have this and it won't go away. I also put the date range as a reminder in the note part of the reminder.

Notes for past reminders show up under tomorrow's view for some reason. The only way I've found to prevent this is to remove notes from all reminders and then reboot the phone. Otherwise they get stuck there. It's really quite annoying. I filed a bug with Apple and it was closed as a "dupe", so they are already aware of it.

I have a 6+ and spotlight search is very unreliable, almost all the time it doesn't search or show any results at all. Are you also experiencing this?
I reported already through apple's website.
Anyone knows if the next update will fix this?

All the time.
 
My iPhone 6 refuses to update apps. Any time I try, it stays stuck in "waiting" (unable to be opened) until I reboot the phone.

Have had this problem since 8.1, still does it on 8.2.

Guess I'll probably have to do another full restore and cross my fingers?
 
Several times now I have used the flashlight from the lock screen and the whole phone locks up. I can't stop the flashlight or unlock the phone. Only thing I can do is restart the phone by pressing the home and power buttons till it restarts.
 
I got a stuck FaceTime badge on my iPad after receiving a phone call on my iPhone which I didn't answer. If I turned off iphone cellular calls on my iPad, the badge would go away, but it would come back when I turned it back on (along with an old notification). I had to restart my iPad to clear it.

What iteration of iPad are you using?

No one else have the bug where if they remove the 'Today View' and only have widgets, the date overlaps the topmost widget? That's so annoying and i don't know how difficult it is to fix.

Interesting. This happens to me quite often on the IP6+ 128GB. I was thinking the reason was that my phone surely has the infamous TLC flash memory:

If there are iPads showing this then it is maybe been caused by iOS or something else. I can say that I don't remember having seen this on my iPhone 5 with iOS 8.

It's IPad mini 16g, i face this issue while reading articles and sometimes when I try to expand the comments under the article on Facebook
 
There's certain web pages that cause Safari to crash constantly on my Air 2. I've had purchases screw up because of that. So much that I'm wary of using Safari for any important web traffic. Chrome works fine.
 
My volume controls will disappear after disconnecting from AirPlay. See this post of mine https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1858621/

When this happens on my iPad, the volume buttons don't do anything. Nothing shows on the screen that volume is changing. I can reconnect to my Apple TV and it will show up, then re-disconnect and it will show up, but then magically disappear shortly after and I have to turn off then turn my iPad back on. Now it happens every time I finish AirPlaying.
 
Searching in iTunes store for something. Clicking MORE then locks up with nothing clickable and have to force close if settings/safari/always block cookies is selected.

Would prefer iTunes store to bypass this cookie setting.
 
After upgrading to iOS 8.3, iTunes 12.1.1 (Windows) is reporting wrong free space and usage on my iPhone. If I do a hard reset on the phone, it will display correctly briefly, but then it will update to completely wrong values.
 
Bug Found: Open Outlook for iOS app, in landscape mode, compose a new email, then press the new bold/ italic/ underline button in the stock keyboard. As soon as you select any of these choices, the app will instantly close and bring you Back to the home screen.
it happens in Gmail too...
 
Run across these issues on my 64gb iPhone 6 Plus after upgrading to iOS 8.3...

  • Swiping up for control center doesn't work half the time.
  • Videos in Instagram no longer work and lock my phone up.
  • Videos in AlienBlue no longer work and lock my phone up.
  • Gfy videos/pics in AlienBlue no longer work and lock my phone up.
  • Videos in messages lock up, take a while to play, or don't play at all. Sometimes they go full screen, other times they play small in the message.
  • Multiple weird lock ups since installing.
