Lovin the POWAH!

Very happy with my battery life as well.
Playing 3D games and listening to music all day nonstop (literally) also browsed the web some, used twitter, IM clients. Everything on except bluetooth. Brightness set to about 50% with auto-adjust on.

Usage: 4 hours, 3 minutes.
Standby: 8 hours, 9 minutes.

(Edit: whoops. Battery percentage was 49%.)

I have two push email accounts with fairly heavy traffic. I also watched a bit of YouTube, had a few semi-long phone calls, and checked 'Rumors a bit.

Standby: 2 hrs & 30 min
Usage: 1 hr & 12 min
I'm down to 80% battery
Don't know if it's good/bad but so far the battery life is the same as my 3GS.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_0 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8A293 Safari/6531.22.7)

It's doing MUCH better compared to my 3GS. Loving the battery so far. I plugged it in for fifteen minutes around 6:00 PM when it was around 52%. I'm going to calibrate it tonight in hopes of an even better performance.

Tagging for later. My wife has been complaining about the battery life on her iPhone 4. Just finished charging it to 100% and enabled airplane mode. Curious to see how much power the battery has lost in the morning.

My cell signal was poor all day due to lots of travelling and ending up in a bad location (as you can see from screenshot, 1 bar 3G) and that was more or less the best i could get in the building i was in. Outside i was getting full signal.

Usage was gaming (3d), twitter, facebook, surfing, streaming video and audio so pretty heavy usage.

Don't use bluetooth, IMAP e-mail fetching every 30min., several fairly active push notifications apps, use iPod app and Pandora app for much of the day, on wi-fi ~75% of the time and 3G the rest. Oh and brightness at 50%.

I never find i need the brightness much about 50% ...

Indoors i can't even look at the screen at 100% for long ... hurts my eyes its so bright.

I'm on a road trip and will really put this battery to the test. :) just charged to 94%. I'm playing music constantly and surfing MR. :)

For those having batt issues, reset "settings" seemed to work for me. :) I'll report back at 20%!!

2h4m usage
18h27m standby

not really doing much apart from texting and checking email. 3G and BT on, everything else off and ~45% brightness

67% - this about right?

100% at 7:34am EDT

Bluetooth: on
3G: on
Location: on
WiFi: off
Notifications: on
Brightness: auto +/-40%

Battery is now (11:35am EDT) at 94%
Usage: 39 minutes
Standby: 4 Hours 1 minute

I closed all the apps in the dock after double clicking the home button this morning.

I got my usage bars to register. In talking with apple the general thought was that setting up my phone from a backup caused problems. I had to do a restore and setup everything manually. It took work, but I got it.

I do have a couple of questions...

Anyone use yahoo mail? Yahoo claims it is push and will push to the iphone, but I cannot seem to get it to work. So I have to leave fetch on, and that burns battery.

One final dumb question. Any idea why I cannot get my pics to show from a url? my battery pic is at www.esilock.com/photo.png it is in the main directory of www.esilock.com
I put that url in the picture info for this post, but it wont show. Do i need it in quotes or something?

About 35% on my screen. I don't need it at 100% indoors... Are you out in the sun all the time?

It's a lot of standby. However, 8-10 hours of standby = a few percentage points of battery for me. 2 hours seems like only a little time for 33% battery drain. I'm usually down less than 10% at 2 hours use. Do you have push e-mail on? The only other thing different for me is I don't use BT (that sucks down a lot of power).

Ok, so on my road trip I've came up with these numbers:

Usage: 6 hrs 24 min went from 94% to 16
Standby: 7 hrs

Phone talk time: 55 min

This is with content streaming of pandora radio from 94% all the way to 16%. no stopping. I feel that's pretty decent, not a break thru though.
Any thoughts?

Wifi off
