looks great!

thanks!

Pardon me for asking but since this is aluminum, does it effect the cell signal very much? I notice it has two Polycarbon inserts. do they help the signal?

I just compared it with my wife's ip5 with a regular plastic case, this made you lose about -25db indoors and about -20db outdoors but gps seems accurate and it still have LTE.

Edit: Mine is the elite version, it doesn't have the two Polycarbon inserts but came with the backplate. The one with the inserts is the Defender.

I just received this in the mail. It's the HEX Focus Case for iPhone 5. Feels nice so far.

Edit: the last picture looks like there's a tear in the leather on the bottom right but it's just the reflection of the light. I had to check the case after seeing that picture, lol.

thanks!

Their seems to be two models the "Defender" and the "Elite". The Defender has plastic separators. Since the Element Sector 5 works well signal wise with separators I wonder if the "Defender" model will work better signal wise. You have a lot of experience with metal cases. What' your opinion on this?

Just got this spigen looking case with no branding for about 4.87 usd from a local market. I must say, I am pretty impressed with the fit and feel of the case. I normally use my phone naked, but the black/white contrast looks so cool, I couldn't resist. :p the mute button is a bit hard to reach tho.

At least get one because yes it's an awesome case all around. Still use mine!

thank you for the advice. I currently have the clear cellhelmet, which i like and appreciate the warranty. However, after 1 month, the sharp edges and become more frayed and even sharper

ordered the foliage green today. Hopeful that the Magpul is the answer to my case issues :)

Thanks for a good thread with lots of cool cases! Does anyone have a suggestion for a case (iPhone 5) that's quick and easy to put on and off, and protects against water damage (i.e. sweat) when e.g hiking, skiing, or at the gym...

It's a bit difficult to see if the cases in this thread has a front cover as well as how easy they are to use :)

Cheers

Otter box or life proof are some good ones for water / dust. But not really quick to get in and out of. Have you ever heard of liquipel? If you have that done then any old case will be sufficient because your phone will be water proofed.

Got it in today. Really Solid fit and great in the hand feel. Surprised it is called foliage green, it is truly gray. Really like it and can't beat it for the price

Still going strong with the Caudabe Perimetric. Soft case / plastic dual layer case. Really nice.
