For once, I think this is an OK pair of bundled in earphones. It's not to my taste though as it's bass heavy, but it's an improvement from the throwaways!

They just don't look like they'd be comfortable..I might give them a shot though. Apple say they are more "Directional"

What are those specks on the edge of the band around the outside?

Just fingerprint usage. LOL. Been using it all day. If I took a cloth to it, it'll be spotless.

The white phone does not look bad, especially the back, it does match the rest of the Apple lineup. However, I personally have never been a fan of chrome, so I'm sticking with black, scratches/scuffs or not.
