What is the point in having a beautiful retina screen with the lid shut hooked to a big crappy 27" screen? Especially for reading text.
So you kind of bought a package deal and later sold the Macbook 15. Lost 100 dollar, but kept the 24 ACD. Quite nice, but ehm....why buy a Macbook Retina 13 with closed lid?
I buy and sell apple products to pay for college, and it was part of a deal with a macbook pro 15, that someone was trying to sell.
Because at home I use a display to get work done, and on the road I use the retina display.

Nice, I mostly buy damaged and broken macs, and sell them as is for parts or repair to people on ebay.I did the same. Bought an iPad for 300 then traded for Mac Pro 2006 then sold it for 900. So $600 profit. I love how old apple products still have value today
