I can't believe there's not a decent toy thread in here and I know a lot of mac owners collect toys. Personally, I'm a fan of anime figures, but feel free to post any kind of toys you collect (sans the adult kind of toys ).

Where did you get those Death Note ones? The only ones I could find are the ones boxed with the DVD series.

I love Death Note. Even have my own. I got people to write in it at school.

I picked them up at Japan Center in San Francisco today. You can get them online. DiscountAnimeDVD is a reputable shop: http://tinyurl.com/6k4eas I actually ordered "L" from there today so I can have the set. There's also Misa, but she seems to be hard to find.

I have the Deathnote notebook as well, but I haven't written in it.

I think I might try the local little Japanese store that we have. Its where I got my Death Note.

Yes, I took them. I don't have a special setup. Just set them on a black glass table with a black fabric background (it's actually the back of the NIN: Ghosts collectors edition box set ). I have a dim light in my room and I used a flash (canon 430ex) set on low power. Using a canon rebel xt and the 10-22mm ef-s wide angle lens.

The first one is a figure of Zaraki Kenpachi from the anime "Bleach." I actually haven't seen the show in a while, got that in Japan about 2 years ago.

Yes, but you can also hook it up to an adapter. (Mine is on battery).
