For those who might be interested in the Orbino Strada, I (and I assume everyone who has ordered one) got this email today:

So I asked her a follow up question:
You mention the revised design of the strada.

And she responded:
Hello,
They are definitely subtle changes, which were mainly made to accommodate
technical aspects of the iPhone. Notice the 2nd hole above the earhole.
This allows for the iPhone's proximity sensor. The sides also come up a
little higher for added security. Also, the beltclip strip now allows for
both vertical and horizontal placement.
