I received my BTO 2020 iMac yesterday.
1. How long do I wait until the AppleCare+ (part of order) is automatically enrolled?
2. How do you get the free year of AppleTV+ subscription?

I clicked on the "check eligibility" button. It opens on Apple TV app and it only showed a 7-day free subscription.

The reason I asked was that it was not already enrolled. Are you saying that should be no wait time?
Weird. It's always been automatically enrolled for me when ordered with AppleCare+.
Maybe have a call to Apple to be sure.

Did not work. It may be related to above. Not everything is updated on Apple's end.

This is the way it worked for me :/
 
@pldelisle is correct, the iMac should have already been automatically enrolled in Apple Care. In fact, the Apple Care agreement number and documentation should have been emailed to you by now. I received that enrollment email while my iMac was still in transport.

Just to be sure, your order invoice for your iMac shows Apple Care listed as well? If so, something may be hung up on their end but a call would probably sort it all out.

Yup. I called a few times and eventually found someone at the Agreement Administration. It is now fixed. Still no AppleTV+ for me :(

You might have to call Apple back to get it resolved. They can probably look into your Apple ID account details, maybe your account wasn't "flagged" properly with the one year free. What do you see if you go to http://tv.apple.com and log in there?
 
I tried my regular Apple ID as the other one I used for iTune. Nothing shows up. I only have option to start 7-day trial in both cases. Not a big deal as there is nothing I want to see anyway.
