Yeah, they are requesting that you don't post it.

Technically it would be illegal to record it without their permission, but apart from court cases and criminal lawsuits, who's gonna go after you?

someone explain that youtube vid...i can't access youtube here at work...ugh!

Someone taped a iPhone 4 to a green fuzzy muppet's hand and called Apple to have them explain FaceTime. I have to say, the Apple rep took it well. You should definitely check it out when you get home.

ya but when they accept the facetime call doesnt the no permission thing go out the window?

Just playing devils advocate here but......

Doesn't the hold message during the call say you can not record the call. Wouldn't a screenshot be "recording" the call, Especially if your posting it on here?

OH NO!!!!! HERE COME THE APPLE POLICE!!!!!!!

Uh-oh. The privacy issues (screen recording/publishing) are gonna hit the fan.

At least other phones have front-facing cams too, so Apple ('s users) won't take all of the heat for this one, hopefully.

Ok so you the person who posted the picture took that and now has posted that person's face on the internet WITHOUT permission for all to see explain to me how that's not in the slightest not a privacy concern?

Apple has actually created a breed of super realistic human robot figures therefore they do not require any privacy agreements.

WOW...can we say ANAL?

This is why I think facetime will be a fad or hit with families, but regular audio phone calls will always be the default and are far from extinct.

This may be true but I was quite intrigued by the WWDC demo showing people using sign language with Facetime. That gives people with disabilities more options for remote communication. :)
