I'm into wood work and plexiglass art, here are a couple recent creations, both CNC.

I added a tripod mount to my iPhone 6 Plus case. I used Pixelmator to compose the photo.

This was my second quilting project. It was a lot of fun to make. I quilted apple logos with white thread, but it's kind of hard to see in the photo. Free motion quilting is fun but not easy!

It's about 80" by 80" with a solid white flannel backing.

Would take me a while to cook up something case related, here is something I whipped up on the fly just now with 3/8 plexi. Is about 3.5x3.5" and is in a lighted base - I think every Apple user should own one !

This is a synthesizer I built a couple of months ago. It's a PAiA Fatman kit built into a custom cherry case with a laser-engraved acrylic panel. The keyboard guts are from an old Roland controller.

I made this variable electronic load tester to test 12 volt power supplies. It's got a 10 turn pot for precision load adjustments. I made it out of parts I had in stock. It can handle a 10 amp load continuously To be honest, I made it out of boredom. That being said, It came in handy after repairing a few linear power supplies..

Here is a lithopane I made recently, they are carved in corian and without light they look like a mistake but when they are backlit the pic pops right out. Corian is a solid surface material most commonly used for kitchen countertops, but I have found another use for it.
I make light boxes for them, not made yet so this one I simply held up to the light.

The concept is simple, and they have been made for centuries. The deeper the cut the more light goes through, so those are the whitest areas. The darker color are barely cut so they stay dark and everything in between, the effect is pretty wild. This one took about 2 hours to carve, will take another hour or so to make the light box for it.
