The gifts that were given out are not nearly as good as the gifts you guys received in the other thread. :p

I guess people are more focused on what to get from others than what to give to others. I am fortunate not to go through unnecessary headache and hassle to find gifts for people and to receive gifts I have no use with. Gift exchanges with people/friends do not end up in "monetary equilibrium" most of the times. My previous company had the xmas gift exchange and I hated that program and I opted out the second year (I don't like shopping for someone else).

Mom + Dad: Dinner out somewhere, probably Indian, with everything but the alcohol. If I can't drink, I'm not paying.
Sister: Target giftcard, Zac Posen camera case and Zoolander. First two were free and Zoolander is her "like, favorite movie EVER!".
Plus a box of beignet mix, chicory coffee (regular and decaf) and Tulane shirts.

Best friend: Victoria's Secret giftcard.
Boyfriend: Tulane zip hoodie, a Roald Dahl collection and Happy Cruelty Day!.
Secret Santa 1: The Little Prince and The Very Hungry Caterpillar in Arabic and a "make you own" slipper kit.
Secret Santa 2: Ghostbusters 1+2 box set, a kite-in-a-box kit, and a book of random postcards.

I also made everyone cookies; because finals were evil and baking makes it all better. I really like going gift-hunting for Christmas.
