Looks like they didn't charge me after all. They just did another verification. To add insult to injury, the ship date has been changed to the 27th Feb which is worrying, since I leave for 4 months overseas on the 12th March and any further delays will mean I have no computer and no way to get it once I go.

I have to go back to Australia for study as well. And by the time I arrive there (on the 18th) I will have no computer to use at all. Have just talked to a friend and he is going to lend me his toy, the EEE PC.

T_T

Apple just couldn't be more gay.

it's really upsetting to see some unable to have their new machines reach them on time. why such a delay :( sad

I ordered my 17" MB pro about a month ago through an apple reseller program. I upgrade CPU to 2.93Ghz and the HDD to the 7200RPM. No non-glossy screen.... Yet not official word from Apple as of yet. It really sucks people in America are getting theirs before everyone. :( . What happen to globalization?

Mine is in Melbourne as of today's morning but the thing is that it's stuck at their DEPOT. From my experience, I don't think TNT works or delivers on Saturday/Sunday so I'm surely getting mine on Monday.

Cost in Vancouver, Canada is.....

I ordered a 17 Unibody 2.93 / matte screen / 7200 hdd which came out to $3,800.

$400 of it was tax.

ordered on Jan 26, just drooling.

Mine's still in Pudong and doesn't seem to have moved at all. Any thoughts on why this might be?

Any Updates for March ???

I am an Aussie, but living in NZ and ordered through local agent, back on Jan 9th and still no delivery and they can NOT even give me any ETA... they claim they can NOT get any info from apple, as the units come from Apple Oz... geezzzz... 8+ weeks and not even an ETA... this is my 8th (?) mac over 10 years and I must say I am getting a bit peeed off with the delay and no ETA. How can I have ordered 7th Jan and still have no delivery nor ETA and others ordering later have now received units :-(

SPEC ordered:
uMBP 17" + 2.93 + 7200 RPM + Matte screen...

I was great till about week 6... now its killing me. :-( Should have ordered for Oz delivery and then flown over to collect it from my parents house ;-)

B#2%dy NZ apple agents :-(

Anyone in NZ that has ordered ???

I'm in the same boat in Sydney. I ordered mine (2.93+7200+8gb) from Nextbyte when they were announced. They haven't got any of the standard ones yet, let one customs...

In other news, I ordered a new bass guitar about the same time, and it still hasn't arrived. Maybe everyone is backed up :)
