Post Your Air Battery Status

Santa Rosa

Just wondering what the general consensus is on the state of the Air batteries so we can get a reasonable overview of what is happening with them:

Maybe try and keep the posts to a similar format such as:

Battery Health: 95%
Battery Cycles: 2
Calibration: Yes

Something like that anyway. Above is what I am getting at the moment.

Battery Health: 92%
Battery Cycles: 5
Calibration: Yes
I use a Battery Tender and a DC - AC converter.

Health: 95%
Cycles: 4
Calibrated: No

p.s. It was always at 95% health from day one. It had one cycle already, otherwise its okay. Charge times are also normal.

How do you check your battery health?

Dumb question... how do you check your battery health and what do the numbers mean?

what does the health mean and how do we improve it?

i got health 92.
cycles 4.

how can i improve health

thanks

iStats is a crock of crap.

iStats now says my battery health is 97% and still have 5 cycles.

I wouldn't rely on iStats too much.

iStat gets the info from the about this mac>more info bit i think, so I think it is reliable.

How come the MBA battery degrades so quickly?

I really wonder how often does you guys use your macbook air ? why 80% people's MBair batt cycle is less then 10 cycles ??? o.0

Interesting.....

hey guys, acording to my system profiler my batter fully charged is 4593mAH

and is 90 per cent battry health and 6 cycles.

ive had it for 3 weeks. im about to attempt to calibrate battery but does the mAH figure seem low to you guys?

or normal?

I mostly use my Mac Magazine Air - it's too thin to be called a Book, anyway, I use it plugged into the mains for the most part.

I'm monitoring the status of my battery on iStat nano. I'm performing a battery calibration, I've reconnected the power supply less than one hour ago and I realized that iStat is predicting a total charge time that's always abouto 30/50 minutes longer that what shown by OS X on the side of the battery icon.

Is it normal?
Is it something 'normal' just because I'm recalibrating?
