*Post your AT&T/Verizon 4G Speedtest results here!*

Thanks so much for that bit of info. Never would have found it on my own. Another question tho, it's showing me now "3G", but I also haven't activated a Verizon account. Do I need to before it connects to LTE? I'd really like to know if LTE is in my area before I open an account. I still might exchange mine for an AT&T model. Thanks.

Gooogle Verizon coverage map and turn o. 4g to see if LTE is in your area. For me, LTE didn't show up on my iPad until I activated a plan. Before activation, it showed 3G.

.15 down and 1 up. At&T

HSPA+ Wilmington DE

Much much slower than my 4S

Time to switch to Verizon. :D

Yeah I might sell it and get a Verizon one since LTE is already in Philly.

AT&T LTE speed

This is in San Diego in a LTE area with only 2 bars. Pretty good tho huh?

On a separate note I was using LTE for like 10 mins and my battery went down more noticeably than on wi-fi.

Completely disappointed with AT&T LTE in Orlando. For some reason speedtest.net defaults to Kansas, and ill get slower results if I switch to a local server.

I'm on AT&T LTE network and I'm getting about 20 MB down and 10 MB up. Based out of Brooklyn New York.

Honolulu, HI area

Verizon
4.35 Mb down
2.60 Mb up

Much faster than my iPhone that I did at the same time.
.40 down
.68 up

Bump

Anyone conduct a test in Los Angeles? I just received the AT&T model and the Verizon model. Which to keep? Returning one.

Initial LTE speeds look great. I assume once everyone that has an LTE iPad connects to ATT or Verizon's network, the speed will drop significantly?

7.44 down 10.5 up in Chicago USA. Disappointing download speeds. Weird that uploads are greater.

I'm averaging between 16 and 23 on AT&T in San Francisco. Is it possible to post a screenshot from my iPad on this forum?

Sorry, no screenshot because I got my iPad replaced at the store earlier.

42mbps down / 16mbps up Waltham, MA Verizon

Pretty freaking awesome :D

AT&T LTE (Austin, TX)

Fairly rural area near Waco, TX. AT&T HSPA+ but no LTE. Nearest tower is at least 6 miles away.

4.8 down, 1.7 up

I'm really happy with this for faux G and confirms my decision to go AT&T since VZW doesn't have LTE here either and may never in my neighborhood.

42/16 is moving!!! hahahaha

ok seriously, who else finds it disturbing that our "ipad" are faster than our home wifi? I have time warner in LA and I do 51/5. but some of these LTE numbers are just off the charts.....

I pay $60/month for 20mbps, now I can see why people jail brake!

I have Time Warner in L.A. as well but get 30/5. Which package/price gets you 51/5?

Also, did you get an LTE iPad? Which is the faster LTE carrier for Los Angeles?
