I just purchased a new 17 umbp and there were 6 cycles already. is this normal???

I picked my late 2008 MBP on the day they were released, 10/15. I have 127 cycles and the battery is at 98%. I do try to deplete the battery once a month and have it run all the way down once or twice a month.

My white MacBook which I got 24 December, 2007 has about 500 cycles and 91% health and my current unibody MacBook Pro which I got 13 February, 2009 (Friday the 13th!) has 35 cycles and 98% health.

151 cycles
62% health

powerbook g4, since probably about september 05 since there was a battery recall and i got a new one then:cool:

Haha Coconut Battery reckons my Macbook Pro is 123 months old, had an Original Battery Capacity of 1300 mAh and has a Current Battery Capacity of 12905 mAh
ScreenShot Included

I know, mine lasts 9 hours with the 9600 card running on full brightness, although Windows 7 only lasts 2.5 hours! So much for Windows 7's supposed better battery management. Some people with the 17" only get 6 or 7 hours so i think Apples using two manufacturers to make their 17" Unibody batteries.

13 days old but I have had it plugged in almost non stop the whole time, just calibrated the battery and used it without the plug a few times.

Now if only coconutbattery would show the correct age. My serial number is entered correctly. I see it's doing the same thing to others though.
