I have 581 cycles and my battery health is 71% ...is this normal??? any thing I can do to try to improve this....the weird thing is that 2 days ago, istat would say my health was about 61%
Tbh the whole time i have had my mbp 13" (2.26/ 2009 Had the laptop since November last year, use it on mix of batt power and desktop, am a student so rely on the batt quite a lot) i have never really had 100% batt health. Always more 90-95.
But in the last three months that has gone down to nearer 87-89%
And now after my most recent calibration 'Watts' is saying that my batt health is only 81% after 114 cycles.
Coconut Batt says i have 4443mAh left and that the original capacity was 5450mAh.
Just wondering is this bad, it feels kinda bad considering it's meant to hold 80% for up to 1000 cycles.
I've had my MBP for 8 months, 56 cycles and only at 91% health. What gives? It was actually at 96% health last night so I calibrated it and the result is now 91%. This reading is the same with both iStat and Coconut.
This is mine. MBP 6,2 running 10.6.5. Just did a recalibrate last night and im noticing some improvement in my battery performance. Can anyone confirm if this looks like a normal reading? I am new to the MacBook Pro line and am really not sure what to expect battery wise.
I just bought a 13" MacBook Pro yesterday from Best Buy. I installed this program iStat Pro on my dashboard and it says my battery health is 97% and I've only had 2 cycles. Is there something actually wrong with my battery? Or a problem with the iStat Pro program tracking it?
I made the jump to 10.6.5 and then this happened. It's now telling me to "service the battery". I'm pretty sure something's wrong here, I calibrated it and the system's battery indicator kept telling me it was "5 minutes until fully charged" for an hour before it actually signalled a fully charged battery.
(It was around 85-90% a day or two ago.)
Any ideas? What the hell do I do? There are no Apple Stores in Hungary and I've had bad experiences with authorized service providers.
I'm shocked to see some stats in this post! Older batteries than mine are still at 95-100%? My current capacity is at 51% in just 18 months and 483 cycles and it says "Service Battery"
