I prefer Lamborghini's single-seat all-terrain vehicles to their wimpy sports cars:

And if we're going true "pie in the sky, but really exists"...

I want my own SpaceShip Two (with White Knight Two and trained crew for both, of course.)

SpaceX Dragon v2 (with Falcon 9R and trained crew, of course.)

Would need docking privileges and a dedicated private room at the proposed Bigelow Commercial Space Station.

And, to go the opposite direction, my own US Subs Phoenix 1000 luxury submarine (with both docking mid-depth minisub and deep-diving microsub; and trained crew.)

The Singer 911. Based off the 964 chassis and jam packed full with thousands of hand-made touches I would literally cut off a limb to have the pleasure of owning one. However, realistically, at £200,000 I don't think I'll be driving one anytime soon.

(Coincidentally) The photo itself is also one of my favourites of all time.

I was going to post a porsche 964 not necessarily this one but any 964 will do for me.

this looks like it's gonna be unreachable at first when relased

vid at the bottom of the linked page is definitely worth a look

Yeah, that whole competition was silly. "Make a great commuter bike!" when price wasn't a concern at all.

I'm sorry, but to be a "great commuter bike", it has to be affordable. I'm not going to pay $10,000 for a bicycle just to go to and from my job, when I could buy a Smart ForTwo EV (after tax breaks) for the same price!

(I spent $700 on my commuter bike three years ago, it is as perfect a commuter bike as I need. Yes, About $150 of it was accessories that didn't come on the base bike, but those accessories gave it 100% the functionality of this contest-winner...)

E36 M3, at least until I'm old enough that the insurance doesn't cost as much as the car!

May be a graduation present to myself in 4+ years time

Not one for Ferrari or Lambos. Gimme an Aston all day any day.

Well, that and sexy stewardess. :p But fuel and landing fee can be ALOT more than hiring a pilot.

Most smaller airports will wave the landing fee if you purchase fuel. It can cost over $1,000 per hour for a jet according to a friend of mine.

I've been drooling over one of these, ever since I saw one at the local FBO. It was a demo plane waiting for the person that wanted to fly it. I was standing with a bunch of propeller heads from ground school, and we were all pretty much tongues on the ground over this cute baby... It's nearly jet speed, and more economical than a pocket jet.

Which reminds me of a story: In TPA, sipping Tequila at a 'bar' near my gate. Got to chatting him up. He's a contract pilot for a rich dude in Oklahoma. He flies G6's, and was just weathered out of a jaunt to the Caribbean, and Cabo. We got to talking favorite planes, and he actually mentioned the P-180. He had a share in one at one time. Had a great conversation sitting there talking planes... I had originally wanted to be a contract pilot, but life had other plans...
