heh i have a canon 6D with a 50mm f/1.4 that i carry around with me in my day bag... it's a full frame DSLR but really small and light, even with the 50mm lens on, it has a very small footprint so carrying it around is really easy

as for the quality of my images, it's just the camera and knowing how to use natural light as the 6D has no flash... sit near windows, food comes, snap a quick pic, upload to Flickr when you get home haha, cheers!
 
Made some burgers for my friends and I. The presentation isnt the best, but the taste was sensational!

A summer veggie-ful dinner.


Chop salad: romaine, grilled corn, heirloom tomatoes, red onion, and mango in a cilantro lime jalapeño dressing.

You have done a great job..As you are interested in knowing about dishes..its a clear way..as you told here many from different culture so all can find many dishes from this thread...really nice to see this...

Hi Michael,

Thanks. Yup, I did. Purple asparagus tends to be quite thick, and the thicker the tougher.

Last night's dinner:

Lettuce wraps of corn, tomato, red onion, lime, cilantro, garlic scapes, cumin, chili powder, smoked paprika.

Caprese salad. This mozzarella from Touch of Italy in Lewes, Delaware is fantastic.

Tonight's dinner:

Roasted red potatoes with garlic, rosemary, basil, parsley, oregano, and marjoram.

Sautéed yellow squash and zucchini with fire-roasted red peppers, young garlic, garlic scapes, lemon, basil, and parsley. Sprinkled with parmesan.

Eggplant stuffed with a mixture of yellow and green squash, rice, onion, garlic, parsley, basil, pecorino romano, fontina, tomato, and of course the eggplant that was scooped out.
