Post your breakfast, lunch or dinner

The boyfriend and I made food tonight. Grilled salmon with lemon, butter and herbs sauce, grilled asparagus and orzo with diced tomatoes and kalamata olives.

^^^I love their mango pineapple smoothies. One of the few things I would actually buy at McD's.





Dinner last night: Homemade chicken meatballs, tomato sauce with onions, garlic, orange pepper, celery, and al dente tricolor rotini topped with freshly grated parmesan romano.

Tonight I cooked up mussels and chorizo. Steamed in white wine. With a broth of the wine, butter, shallots, and garlic. Some cilantro on top, a piece of sourdough garlic bread, and a caesar salad on the side.

Oh my.... Is there anyway that you could list how you made it? I would really love to try it out.
 
Had a fatty breakfast at Cinnabon with a Seattle's Best Coffee..

Got so sugar high I cleaned up all my files on the MBP.. :D

Sure, it's an easy recipe!

In a large pot, sauté the chorizo, then add the minced shallots and garlic to sauté for a couple more minutes. I used three medium links of chorizo (about .6 lbs), two shallots and two cloves of garlic.

Add the mussels (2 lbs, scrubbed and de-bearded), stir to coat, then add 1/2 cup of white wine, cover, and steam over medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes, until the mussels open.

With a slotted spoon, move the mussels and chorizo to a bowl and cover to keep warm. Whisk in 2 tbsp butter to the pot of broth and simmer for another 5 minutes. This yields enough broth to coat the mussels as you pour it over them and to dip bread in, but if you prefer more, then double the recipe.

Top with some freshly chopped cilantro (or parsley) and serve with some garlic bread. :)

i musta been a shark or sumfin in a past life w/ the amount of sushi i eat kekeke...

simple sushi combo w/ assorted cali, dynamite & BC maki w/ miso soup, salad and spicy tuna sashimi w/ sushi rice <3

Inspired by Perrumpo and her poached egg, I wanted to try and get ours to an acceptable level. Open faced sandwich (ham), thin sliced gouda, sauteed onion and avocado.

Great, I told my wife I'd eat at work today.... Now I'm going to HAVE to get some sushi... :|

I had a pub Sunday dinner today in my local, wasn't that great, never really is - but it's reasonably priced cooked food with no washing up!

Beef & mash with vegetables and a very large Yorkshire pudding.

Gravy was delicious though :)

I was working in downtown St. Paul so I stopped into Mickey's Diner.

They are on the national historic register and have been open 24/7 for nearly 70 years.
