A pear arugula salad with mini heirloom tomatoes, topped with smoked gouda and crumbled bacon.

I've had this sentimental cup for 15 years from an old computer tech school. And pure Espresso goes in it 2 times a morning :D

Homemade bruschetta on roasted eggplant.

Pasta with turkey meat sauce, garlic bread, and used some of the leftover bruschetta as a dressing for the arugula salad.

Any special lighting?

Nope, just the house lights, but I had the aperture open pretty wide, so that lens brightened it up a good bit.
 
You are one of my most hated food photographers....you make it look so good, that I just got to have it! Arrrgggghhhhhh!!

haha, I do feel your pain with seeing yummy looking pics of food online. I do partially eat with my eyes!
 
At Alewife Baltimore:

Mussels with chorizo in lobster sauce and catfish tacos. And a Green Flash Double Stout. Very delicious!

I have a nice piece of Wagyu, which I am contemplating to BBQ this weekend...

Can't be this weekend. I have a lot of work to catch up on and a lot of studying. Started my mid-term tests this week. :|

I'll get it next weekend for sure. At least then I'll have my full pay check in the bank. :)
 
Brunch!

Poached egg over a slice of fresh tomato, arugula coated with a pear vinaigrette, and a slice of toasted sourdough. Topped with fresh crumbled bacon and pea shoots. I had never poached eggs before, so I was happy with the way they turned out!
